The HWES Executive Board

  • Co- President - Casi Gaskin

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • Treasurer - Teresa Pizano

My name is Marian Pizeno, but everyone calls me Theresa. I've been here at camp Humphreys since July of 2023. My son is a 2nd grader here at HWES. Throughout the 2023-2024 school year I assisted with the book fair, the holiday shop, teacher appreciation, and popcorn as well add other events.

  • Secretary- Alec Moriarty

I grew up in Southern Nevada, where I attended school and was raised by my father who was an elementary school teacher at Virgin Valley ES. I enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2012 and have served in both the Active and Reserve components ever since. I have a broad range of skills in both interpersonal and technological communications.

My family and I have lived at Camp Humphreys since August 2023. My spouse Lipine is an Active Duty soldier, and we have two children: Ualesi (15 yrs) and Kealohilani (7 yrs) who attend the school at Camp Humphreys. Having served as both a soldier and military spouse, I am familiar with the unique challenges that face military family life

  • Parliamentarian - Teleathea Higgins

Hey HWES family! I am Teleatha Higgins mostly know as “Titus’ mom” at West. Throughout the day I am also known as wife, Army veteran, licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and Red Cross volunteer. Here in Korea I spend most of my time with my family and volunteering. I enjoy reading, spinning, baking bread, and organizing/decorating for celebrations. I grew up an Army brat and attended a DODEA school. This has brought about my passion for being as present as possible and showing up for OUR kids. I have experienced first-hand having a deployed parent while in school. Military kids have so many extras challenges and changes that they go through; along with daily challenges at school. If I can be a part of something that makes their days better and supports them and their families, that’s all I could ever want!
